Commercial Landscape Maintenance & Client Management
What should be included in a commercial landscape maintenance contract?
- A commercial landscape maintenance contract should clearly define the included services, their frequency, and what falls outside the regular scope. When comparing proposals, ensure you compare service levels, and frequencies of each operation. For example, how many turf applications (weed control/fertilization) are in the contract, and how many pruning occurrences are included?
How often will you service my commercial property?
- Service frequency depends on the property, season, and contracted scope. Not every task happens during every visit, so a good maintenance plan should clearly outline what gets done and when. We can use a Yearly Calendar to show what services are provided when and how many times they occur.
Who will be my main point of contact?
- Each property will have a dedicated Account Manager who understands the site, oversees service quality, and serves as your primary point of contact. Complete Grounds Account Managers are foundationally rooted in Landscaping, including Horticulture, Turf knowledge, Irrigation knowledge, Arboriculture, and Tree and Shrub Health.
How do you ensure your property is serviced correctly?
- Complete Grounds Account Managers walk your property with you each month to assess and document all the landscaping practices being performed on your property. They listen to your issues/suggestions, proactively correct them with crews during these walks, suggest enhancements, and then provide solutions.
What happens if something gets missed?
- If something gets missed, we address it quickly, communicate what happened, and make sure it gets corrected. The goal isn’t to pretend mistakes never happen, it’s to respond quickly and accurately when they do.
How do you communicate problems you find on my property?
- Complete Grounds Account Managers and crews proactively identify concerns such as declining plant material, irrigation issues, drainage problems, turf stress, or storm damage, then communicate the issue and recommend a solution before it becomes a larger problem.
Can you help me manage my annual landscaping budget?
- Yes. We collaborate with clients to create a Client Budget Sheet, planning routine services, recommended improvements, and capital projects by the specific month or season they’ll be needed. This helps clients prioritize their landscape dollars and plan ahead for expenses throughout the year.
How do you transition a property from another landscaping company?
- Before service begins, our Account Manager and Operations Team walk the property, review the contracted scope, identify existing deficiencies, and establish priorities so our crews understand the property from day one.
What types of commercial properties do you maintain?
- Complete Grounds maintains Commercial Campuses, Industrial Facilities, Apartments, Retail Centers, HOAs, Office Properties, Healthcare Facilities, and other professionally managed commercial properties.
Can you manage multiple properties for the same company?
- Yes. Complete Grounds manages multi-property portfolios across several markets, allowing Regional and Portfolio Managers to maintain consistent service standards while still ensuring local Account Manager accountability.
What services can Complete Grounds handle beyond routine landscape maintenance?
- Complete Grounds provides a wide range of landscape enhancement, exterior maintenance, and property improvement services, including irrigation, tree care, hardscapes, pressure washing, industrial cleaning, lighting, concrete and asphalt work, parking lot striping, fencing, painting, pest control, and more. Our goal is to give clients one trusted partner for more of their property’s exterior needs.
How do you minimize disruption to residents, tenants, and customers?
- Our crews are accustomed to working on active commercial properties and remain aware of entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, residents, tenants, customers, and high-traffic periods while completing work safely and efficiently.
What areas does Complete Grounds serve?
- Complete Grounds is a regional commercial landscaping company with local Account Managers and Operations Teams serving the Piedmont/Triad, Charlotte Metro, Triangle, Coastal NC and Upstate South Carolina, supporting both individual properties and multi-location portfolios across our growing regional footprint.
How do you keep clients informed about upcoming services?
